You are a weenie at a BBQ. Try your best to survive the cookout.

Collect spray bottle power-ups to cool off. Don't get too cooked or you'll be one step closer to being lunch.

Game was made for MS Paint's Jam after my friend JW said I should "make a game".

Controls:

  • WASD to move
  • Space/left mouse to dash, dashing speeds up your cooking

Very fun and entertaining game! Thanks for making that!
I got to 3:51 minutes, but then it gets really tough.

I think more spray bottles could spawn at the borders of the grill, because of all the flames you won't be able to collect any bottles in the middle anyways!

Thanks for playing my game, I hope it was as fun for you to play as it was for me to make!

3:51 is a pretty good time! my best is about 4:00 but someone I know actually made it to 5:00!

It definitely struggles in the "late game" in its current state. I'm hoping to improve on that with a small update soon. It kind of sucks to see a bottle spawn in the middle and know it's dead to you :(

yes I definitely had fun! Also with the funny theme and music, it's a really fun topic!

It's fine with the spray bottles in the middle. It might be just more practical if the spawning area would be reduced, the more flames there are, so less spawns in the middle.

Well done in any case!

well balanced and very fun - most fun i had so far really! also very nice art... hmm... i wonder if that's a pro or a con.

Thanks for playing my game, I'm glad you had fun!
I'm not too confident in my art skills but I'm happy with how it turned out! Might be a con for the jam, but it's a pro for me!

I got 1:54 - I could probably get that higher if I kept at it though.

Nice work! Things get hectic quickly, though, and that can feel frustrating, especially with the player's slow movement speed.

Thanks for playing my game, I hope you enjoyed it!
I tried balancing the players slow move speed with the ability to dash! The hectic vibe is exactly what I was hoping to accomplish with my game!
I made an adjustment with how much the dash cooks the player, maybe the increased dash would offset the slow movement speed better?
